Introduction:
Occupational hazards and unsafe work environments pose the risk of injuries and ill health to employees. The injury adversely affects the morale of the employees which in turn would affect their productivity and safety. The employees can make extensive contributions in promoting safety and health through their commitment, involvement and constructive approach. Their participation in the process of safety and health in the Safety Committees makes the work environment safe.

Objectives:
To provide a unique opportunity to understand the problems relating to occupational safety and health.
