Introduction:
Shigeo Shingo the Founder of Toyota Production System advised that – By organising the workplace, vital savings of different types are achieved: Process Time, Material, Space for Work & Human Efforts. While adding value at work, old habits continue & people stay with an Unorganised or Disorganised workplace. Kaizen & Five ‘S’ is now known in the world for its advantages in eliminating waste & improving profitability in any Business.

Kaizen & 5 ‘S’ was intended to combat the evil overproduction, quality rejection, inventory and problems in excess WIP. Kaizen & 5 ‘S’ has done miracles in reducing the inventory & streamline the material flow in the factory. Office 5 ‘S’ also contributed to Kaizen activities to save cost for the organisation.
