Description:
Employees in the manufacturing company usually know their machines, manufacturing processes and the general conditions very well. Often the focus is only on one’s own department, machine group or cost center. The material flow in the linked company, i.e. the upstream and downstream areas, are often not given enough consideration.
A lean approach in your own area is not enough. This program sharpens the view of the entire supply chain in the company. This includes the interfaces to the supplier and to the customer, the consideration takes place across departments and plants.
Case studies and special situations from manufacturing companies serve as the basis for practical exercises on various SCM Lean approaches.
