POSH Training Outline:
Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace is one of the serious issues being faced by many organizations. In the year 2013, to support POSH, the “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act“ was passed in India.

According to this act, any organization with more than 10 employees must implement this law. The law states that these organizations must have an Internal Complaints Committee with a woman heading it. Also, it is the responsibility of the organization to train their employees regarding the act.

“The Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act of India mandates every organization to define their sexual harassment policies, prevention systems, procedures and service rules for employees. This courseware helps participants identify the various types of sexual harassment and recognize behaviors that may be considered inappropriate. “The module will help organizations educate employees on what is deemed sexually offensive conduct. This is an essential and important step towards the reduction of corporate liability as well as to maintain a professional work environment.”
