About The Program

This program is to help people effectively develop their Supervisory Skills. The course defines the role of a supervisor, and also the most common difficulties a supervisor will face in the workplace.

Supervisors today play a critical role in ensuring an organization’s success and productivity. Most supervisors have the responsibility of directing the work of others by hiring, developing, motivating and monitoring the performance of the staff. The successful supervisor must have a clear understanding of his or her roles and responsibilities as a supervisor.

The diverse workforce of today’s organizations and the changing economic conditions require first line supervisors to understand the importance of having strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations, effective planning, goal setting, coaching, and team building etc.

This program will prepare the new supervisor, the individual in transition to a supervisory role or the current supervisor desiring skills update to become a more effective member of the organization’s management team.
